Affronts to our civil liberties occur every day. And it takes countless dedicated volunteers, lawyers, and organizers to preserve our rights. Without the active involvement of these individuals - many of them not dissimilar from you - the Bill of Rights and Constitution would only be well intentioned words on a piece of paper.
